Rose City Sport & Social Club (RCSSC) wants to make your day. RCSSC has launched an initiative that aims to delight, inspire and empower Windsorites. Their team of Day Makers visits various locations in Windsor to deliver Play Packs full of ‘life-enriching local goodies’ to deserving individuals. Goodies include edible eats from a local bakery, locally roasted coffee, sporting event passes, tickets to a local show and much more.
“We really wanted to showcase simple pleasures from local businesses and remind Windsorites that a little kindness goes a long way,” says RCSSC Founder & Director Kyla Woodcock. “We’re hoping to put a smile on a few faces and in the process, bring the community closer together.”
The premise of the Day Maker movement is simple: once you’ve been a recipient, it’s your turn to make someone else’s day. Whether it’s a simple compliment or a kind gesture, the end result is always positive. “We really wanted to spread a little love around Windsor and encourage people to be a force for fun and happiness in our community,” says RCSSC Sport Manager Colin Galloway.
“We’re hoping to create a local movement that reminds people how great life in Windsor really is.” The RCSSC Day Makers will be traveling around Windsor between Monday May 2nd and Friday May 6th. If you see them around town this week, be sure to snap a photo and share it online using the hashtag #RCDayMaker.
